I, I heard your question and meditated over it. I approached my deck with the intent to do a general love reading for you, but I truly think the cards have a different message for you.
I was led to pull four cards for you. I wanted to get a general perspective on the love in your past. Interestingly enough, the first card I pulled was the Seven of Scepters. This card is fiery and represents the solar power of Leo. In love, this card indicates tension or hasty exchanges. I personally read this as the past relationship with the Leo. It seems like there was probably some tension present between you two which eventually fizzled out, as you mentioned. The next three cards are the message you’re supposed to hear.
The second card I pulled was the Ten of Scepters reverser. This indicates feelings of rejection, fears, and a psychological barrier that you’ve put up. It may be that you’re feeling dejected. Similarly, I intended to pull only one card - but two jumped out. The Eight of Knives and the Prince of Grails reversed. The Eight of Knives, in regards to your situation, indicates feeling emotion strain and feeling powerless. The Prince of Grails, in reverse, indicates an in balance of ego. Especially in the shadow position shows a withdrawal and hesitance with intimate affections.
Piecing this all together - it seems like your confidence was shaken from the situation with the Leo. Possibly just in general. There is an atmosphere of overthinking the situation of your love life and wondering why the situation went wrong. Be kind to yourself and try to understand that whoever is meant for you, will find their way to you. In regards to if there will be someone new in your life - the Eight of Knives represents patience and receiving results after contemplation. It seems like you should focus on healing at the moment, and figuring out what you want from a relationship. Then, the possibility of a new person could be on the horizon. I definitely don’t see any indication, at the moment, of a harmonious resolution with the Leo. However, once you find strength in yourself, that’s when things will start to happen.
